ABOUT

The Roots

The University of Malta, Engineering Technology Clubs were launched in 2016 as an initiative of the Faculty of Engineering to provide hands-on workshops in Engineering to secondary school students. The workshops are conducted in various laboratories at the University of Malta, providing students with a taste of the different aspects of the modern Engineering profession.

The Clubs are targetted especially for Year 8 students who are about to make their options choices. Over the last four years, the Faculty hosted well over 2,000 children from different State, Church and Independent Schools.
